Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add egg and vanilla.
- Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool briefly before serving.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on the sheet.
