Method
- Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned, then add diced onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Split buns and place bottom halves on a baking sheet.
- Spread meat mixture on buns, add optional toppings, then cover with top halves.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until buns are warm and cheese melts. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast the buns before assembling.
