Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); grease and line pans.
- Mix dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cream butter, then add eggs and vanilla. Alternate adding dry mix and milk, then bake for 25–30 mins.
- Cool cakes, then make frosting by beating butter, adding sugar, vanilla, and milk. Assemble and decorate.
Notes
Ensure cakes are completely cooled before frosting to prevent melting.
