Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish
- Chop rhubarb and spread evenly in the dish
- Sprinkle sugar, pour water and vanilla over rhubarb
- Evenly dump cake mix on top—do not stir
- Arrange sliced cold butter over dry cake mix
- Bake until golden and bubbly; let cool before serving
Notes
For a crispier topping, broil for the last few minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
