  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree (plain, unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce or mashed ripe banana
dry ingredients
  • 1.5 cups oat flour (or finely ground oats)
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 1/4 cup finely shredded carrots (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a cake pan.
  2. Mix pumpkin, peanut butter, eggs, coconut oil, and applesauce until smooth.
  3. Stir in oat flour, baking soda, and optional add-ins gently until combined.
  4. Pour batter into pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool before serving.
  5. Slice and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are dog-safe and avoid xylitol in peanut butter.
