  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat steaks dry, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in oven-safe skillet over high heat.
  4. Sear steaks 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Add butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme; baste steaks for 1 minute.
  6. Transfer to oven; cook 4-6 minutes for medium-rare.
  7. Rest steaks for 5-10 minutes before serving.
