Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas peeled and sliced
Peanut Butter
  • 0.25 cup natural peanut butter or almond butter
Chocolate Chips
  • 0.25 cup dark chocolate chips or sugar-free chocolate chips
Coconut Oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil optional, helps with smooth chocolate coating
Chopped Peanuts
  • 0.25 cup unsalted roasted peanuts chopped
Sweetener
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup optional, depending on sweetness preference
Sea Salt
  • Pinch sea salt optional

Method
 

  1. Peel and slice bananas, then freeze for 1 hour.
  2. Mix softened peanut butter with honey or syrup if desired.
  3. Spread peanut butter on banana slices, sandwich with another slice, then freeze.
  4. Melt chocolate with coconut oil until smooth.
  5. Dip banana sandwiches in chocolate, roll in peanuts, sprinkle salt, then freeze for 1-2 hours.
