Ingredients
  

Fruits and Vegetables
  • 1 cup Fruits (e.g., bananas, avocados, cooked apples) washed, peeled, chopped into baby-friendly shapes
  • 1 cup Vegetables (e.g., sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli) steamed or roasted until soft
Proteins
  • 1 cup Cooked chicken, lentils, or beans cooled
Grains
  • 1 cup Cooked quinoa, oatmeal, or brown rice cooled
  • to taste Herbs and spices (optional) for flavor

Method
 

  1. Wash, peel, and chop fruits and vegetables into small pieces.
  2. Steam or roast vegetables until soft.
  3. Cook grains and proteins, then cool.
  4. Portion foods into ice cube trays or muffin tins and freeze.
  5. Label containers with date and food type, then transfer to freezer bags.
  6. Thaw in fridge overnight or warm gently before serving.
