Ingredients
  

Green Beans
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions (gluten-free if needed)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, drain.
  3. Mix heavy cream, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Combine green beans with sauce, transfer to casserole dish, top with cheese and fried onions.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or paprika on top before baking.
