Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic, and cook for 1 minute.
- Whisk in flour, then gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream.
- Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Add cooked pasta and shredded chicken to the sauce and stir.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand before serving. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
