  • 8 ounces spaghetti
Meat
  • 1 pound ground beef
Vegetables
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Canned Goods
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
Dairy
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook spaghetti, then drain.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic; add tomatoes, sauce, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5 mins.
  3. Mix sour cream and cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Combine spaghetti, meat sauce, and cheese mixture. Layer in baking dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Bake covered 25 mins, then uncover and bake 10 mins until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For a creamier texture, let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
