Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Blanch green beans for 5 minutes, then drain.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil or butter. Sauté onions, mushrooms, and garlic until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix sautéed vegetables, green beans, mushroom soup, milk, half the cheese, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese and fried onions, then bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool briefly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, add a dash of soy sauce or hot sauce to the mixture.
