Ingredients
  

Brownie Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Mousse Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy cream cold
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips melted
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Melt butter, mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa, salt; fold into butter mixture.
  4. Pour batter into pan, bake 25-30 minutes; cool.
  5. Whip cream and sugar until soft peaks; fold in melted chocolate.
  6. Spread mousse over brownies; refrigerate for 2+ hours.
  7. Melt chocolate with cream for ganache; pour over mousse. Let set.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips in the mousse.
