  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
Dry Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate (melted)
  • A pinch salt

Method
 

  1. Whisk heavy cream, milk, and sugar until dissolved.
  2. Sift in cocoa powder and mix well.
  3. Stir in melted chocolate, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  5. Churn in ice cream maker, then freeze for 4-6 hours.

For best texture, ensure mixture is well chilled before churning.
