Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread melted butter and caramel sauce in a cake pan, then arrange apple slices on top.
- Mix dry ingredients; beat eggs, add milk and vanilla, then combine with dry ingredients.
- Pour batter over apples and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a plate to serve.
Notes
For best results, use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
