Ingredients
  

Apple Filling
  • 6 cups sliced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Crumb Topping
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss sliced apples with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon. Spread in a greased baking dish.
  3. Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle topping over apples and bake 35-40 minutes until golden.
  5. Cool slightly and serve warm. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
