Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 1 pound ziti pasta
Meat
  • 1 pound ground beef
Sauce
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
Cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Others
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil Olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta until al dente, drain.
  2. Brown ground beef in olive oil, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add marinara and simmer 5 mins.
  3. Mix cooked pasta, ricotta, and half of mozzarella. Combine with beef mixture.
  4. Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan. Cover and bake 25 mins.
  5. Remove foil, bake 15 mins until bubbly and golden. Let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

You can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
