5 Ingredient Oreo Ice Cream Cake

Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 36 pieces Oreos (19.1 oz family-size package) reserve extras for topping
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
Ice Cream Layer
  • 0.5 gallon cookies and cream ice cream softened slightly
  • 14 oz hot fudge sauce warmed slightly
Topping
  • 8 oz Cool Whip thawed

Method
 

  1. Crush Oreos into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into a 9×13-inch pan to form the crust.
  2. Spread softened ice cream over the crust and freeze for 1 hour.
  3. Warm hot fudge sauce and spread over the frozen ice cream. Freeze for another hour.
  4. Spread Cool Whip over the fudge layer and freeze for at least 3-4 hours.
  5. Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use hot water to dip the knife for clean slices.
